The Buffalo Sabres are doing this for the first time this season and because of it there is going to be a special guest that is coming to the Buffalo Sabres game on Thursday and fans will be VERY happy.

The very first Buffalo Sabres Throwback Thursday of the season is happening this week and they are going to be doing giveaways, wearing their red and black goathead jerseys and try to 'throw it back' as much as possible.

Tickets are $20 for the Buffalo Sabres during the week this season.

What are they going to give away for free on Thursday night for the Throwback game at the Key Bank Center?

The first 5,000 fans in attendance will receive a goathead pennant as a special gift, so make sure that you get there early.

Who is the special guest that will be at the Buffalo Sabres game on Thursday, the 6th.

For every single Throwback game this year (they will mostly happen on Thursdays) the Buffalo Sabres will be wearing their red and black goathead jerseys. But, in addition, the Buffalo Sabres are bringing their longtime, fan-favorite anthem singer, Doug Allen. Remember that there was a little drama that happened during COVID surrounding Allen getting the COVID shot and then suddenly he was not the anthem singer anymore.

According to the Buffalo Sabres, Allen will sing all of the nights where there are throwbacks. Right now, doing the anthems every single night is Cami Clune who has quickly become a music staple here in Western New York and has done a wonderful job singing both anthems every single night.

There is a very popular night that Sabres fans are looking toward: Reunion Night on Jan. 15 against Montreal where tons of the Buffalo Sabres from 2005-2006 will be in attendance.
