List of FREE Buffalo Sabres Giveaways Coming This Year

Fans are excited about the freebies that they will be getting this year especially, the free Thanksgiving game giveaway.

The Thanksgiving Day freebies have a theme going on and people go NUTS over them--spending so much money on secondary market if you can find them. A couple of years ago the Buffalo Sabres gave away a gravy dish, then last year they gave away the Sabres butter dish and this year, they are giving away Sabres salt and pepper shakers!

Here is a list of all of the freebies that the Buffalo Sabres will be giving away at what games this season.

  • March 20 - Sabretooth Socks
  • April 10 - Team Flag

I feel like it is important to say though, that you should note that most of the free giveaways are capped for the attendance. For example: when the Thanksgiving freebies were given away last year, it was only for the first 15,000 people that walk through the door so make sure you know how many people will get them and get there early! Also--do not be selfish! They simply just hand them to you as you walk in the door and there are so many people who cheat and go back and say they did not get any and have tons and then sell them online.

The Buffalo Sabres get their preseason underway in September and then their first game is October 1 away and then first home opener will October 3 at the Key Bank Center.
