Adversity should be the Buffalo Bills' middle name. They've dealt with a good amount of it this season, and as they get ready to take on the number one defense in the NFL this weekend, they've been force-fed even more.

The Buffalo Bills have already ruled out three receivers this week

Last week, the Buffalo Bills took on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers without one of their leading receivers in Dalton Kincaid. This week, they'll be without him again, and they've added to the list of receivers who will be on the bench. They will also be without Curtis Samuel and Mecole Hardman Jr.

Kincaid is still dealing with a hamstring injury from the game against the Dolphins. Samuel is listed with both an elbow injury and a neck injury. Newly signed Hardman hasn't been seen since his fumble on the punt return against the Bucs. He is struggling with a calf injury.

This could be a make-or-break week for Keon Coleman

Last week, Keon Coleman was listed as a healthy scratch after missing a team meeting on Friday. He's received some pretty harsh (and not necessarily unwarranted) criticism over the past couple of weeks for his apparent lack of effort.

Without Coleman, their receiving corps at the moment consists of Khalil Shakir, Tyrell Shavers (who had an incredible game last week), Joshua Palmer, Gabe Davis, and Elijah Moore. Add in the tight ends Dawson Knox and Jackson Hawes (And technically Reggie Gilliam, even though they don't use him that way).

The Bills will need all hands on deck against the Texans' #1 defense

The Bills have played some decent teams this year, but they haven't seen a defense like the one they're about to face in Houston yet. They only allow just over 258 yards per game and have only allowed 19 touchdowns this season. The Bills allow just over 322 yards per game and have allowed 27, which puts them at 12th in the league.

The Texans are third in the league when it comes to passing defense and third when it comes to rushing defense. They only allow 16 points per game!

Don't let their 5-5 record fool you. This offense, and the Bills passing game, are going to be tested this Thursday night.
