Pat McAfee Is Bringing His Show To Buffalo For The Bills Home Opener
Many fans are already looking forward to the start of the regular season and the Bills' first home game at the new stadium. It is going to be a spectacle with a ton of things going on, including one of the most popular ESPN broadcasters doing his show live right in front of the bison family.
Pat McAfee is bringing his show to Orchard Park for the home opener
While talking with Josh Allen today on his show, former Indianapolis Colts punter and ESPN broadcaster Pat McAfee announced that he will be coming to Buffalo for the home opener.
McAfee has gotten a lot of praise over the years for just saying what he feels. He doesn't really sugar coat anything and he genuinely seemed excited to be coming to Buffalo for their inaugural game.
It sounds as if they're still working out details of when it will start, how long it will go, and things like that but he made the announcement today that he will be there.
They will be in a perfect spot
It seems pretty natural for a show to set up camp in front of this family of bison in what the Bills are calling the "Family Circle." These bison are enormous. The bull is 27 feet tall, the cow is 22 feet tall, and there's a calf that stands between them at 12 feet tall. It's kind of the perfect spot for a selfie outside the stadium.
The sculptures also feature LED lights in their motion stripe that streaks down their side and they have the ability to blow smoke out of their nostrils.
Bills fans will have to wait a bit for it though as the Bills home opener won't happen until week 2 of the NFL season (September 17th) on Thursday night football.
