The Broadcast Team Has Been Announced For The Bills Home Opener
We are a little bit particular about who we like and don't like to listen to during Bills games. Today, we know who it will be for the home opener.
For the most part, we love football in Buffalo. Sure, there are a couple here and there that could care less, but on Sundays after 1 pm, most of us will be either in the stands or in front of our TVs to cheer on our Bills.
Because we're watching every week, it makes many of us feel like we know more than the "experts" and we might be a little more critical of the national media than other fanbases. We (rightfully) get a little upset when we get an announcer who is hypercritical of the Bills or, even worse, a huge fan of our opponent.
The broadcast team that has been announced to call the game this week isn't the #1 broadcast team on CBS, but their definitely not the worst either.
Tom McCarthy, Jay Feely, Ross Tucker & Tiffany Blackmon will be the team this week. Both Jay Feely and Ross Tucker are former NFL players. Tucker even played here in Buffalo.
When asked in a New York Times poll which broadcast team people loved and the one that people were most looking forward to watching this year, the team of Jim Nance, Tony Romo, and Tracy Wolfson topped the list.
Bills fans might be surprised to see that the team of Mike Tirico, Cris Collinsworth and Melissa Stark, came in 4th on that same list. Many Bills fans complain about having to listen to Cris Collinsworth during a game because he's often either very negative to the Bills, or bringing up Patrick Mahomes every chance he gets (even when Mahomes isn't even playing).
The Bills start the season at home against the Cardinals this week at 1 pm and on CBS for those of us watching from home.
