Legendary Bob Dylan Denies the Buffalo Sabres Invitation

Imagine the elevator opening up and Bob Dylan just standing there.

Bob Dylan happened to be in Prague at the exact same time that the Buffalo Sabres were there playing some games. They also happened to be in the exact same hotel. He didn't say which player it was, but one of the Buffalo Sabres invited him to come to the game, but Bob Dylan said he couldn't.

It's been a week since, but Bob Dylan just posted about it. Fans of the Sabres were pointing out how amazing it was that the Sabres knew who Bob Dylan was. Of course, you know his music, but the age gap between the average players age and Bob Dylan is nearly 60 years old.

I love how just matter-of-fact-ly Bob Dylan was in his post.

I ran into one of the Buffalo Sabres in the elevator at the Prague hotel. They were in town to play the New Jersey Devils. He invited me to the game but I was performing that night", Bob Dylan wrote on x, formerly Twitter.

Ironically, Bob Dylan was just in Buffalo a couple of weeks ago when he was on tour with Willie Nelson for the Outlaw Festival at Darien Lake at the end of September.

The Buffalo Sabres have entered the season with the youngest lineup in the National Hockey League, according to Sports Illustrated. That is almost five years younger than the league's oldest roster the Edmonton Oilers. They have an average roster age of 30.19.
