Buffalo Bills Week 14 Game Against The Bengals Flexed To A New Time
The NFL has decided to move the time of the Buffalo Bills vs. the Cincinnati Bengals game on December 7th.
It's just one of those strange things that the NFL does every now and then. They set the schedule for the entire year early, but then as the season goes on, they'll move certain games to time slots that are more beneficial to them for TV ratings. That's the case here as the Bills/Bengals game is getting flexed.
It will still be a home game for the Bills, so you might need to rearrange your tailgating plans for the day.
The Bengals are struggling this year
One of the biggest reasons for the flexed game is that the Bengals are struggling. In the last couple of years, the Bills/Bengals game would have been a marquee game for the NFL. When the Bengals are healthy, they've given the Bills and the Chiefs a run for their money, especially later in the year.
Unfortunately, they haven't been very healthy. They lost their star quarterback, Joe Burrow, early in the year and haven't been the same ever since. They're currently sitting at 3-7 and not even sniffing the playoff picture.
It doesn't mean it won't be a good game
This is a game that the Buffalo Bills will desperately need to win. Not only is it an AFC competitor, but they're still behind the New England Patriots for 1st place in the AFC East. The only way the Bills are going to be able to steal that from New England is if they can find a way to win out, and if New England somehow drops a game or two before playing the Bills for the second time this year on December 14th. It could all come down to that game in New England, but they'll have to win the rest of their games from here on out.
