Believe it or not, April is already here and even though the weather is not cooperating, it is spring in New York State. It is also that time of the year to hit the road and get away for spring break. According to reports, large crowds are getting out of town for some rest and relaxation.

Everyday we hear and read about how expensive things are and how inflation is breaking the financial backs of everyday people. That may be true. But it has not seemed to keep people away from the airports!

There are reports this week that indicate Syracuse Airport saw a huge amount of people pass through in the month of March!

More than 140-thousand people went through the TSA security checkpoint last month. That total was the highest number of travelers screened during the month of March since all the way back in 2005.

If you have flown lately, you know how packed the airports have been! Since the end of the COVID-19 pandemic, it seems like everywhere you go the planes are full and there are big crowds.

The next big event will be the solar eclipse that is going to happen on Monday. Over the next few days, airports across Western and Central New York will be very busy will people coming in from all across the country.
