The Governor of New York State is reminding people about the benefits of getting a COVID vaccine or a booster shot.
IN a recent report, it was noted that New York State Health Commissioner Dr. James McDonald signed an order that allows New Yorkers to receive the new vaccine at any pharmacy in New York State without a prescription.
In her post on "X", Kathy Hochul mentioned that: "The new COVID-19 vaccine is available to New Yorkers now. I got my shot, and you should too! It’s the best way to protect your family and community".

There seemed to be a bit of a spike in July and since then we have seen a downward trend. As for the peak of this year's numbers, it seems that January 8th was the day with the most positive cases reported.
