Hundreds attended an anti-bullying presentation on Wednesday at Hartwick College. Local teacher Noelle Granger and nurse practitioner Jean Van Kingsley shared their first-hand experiences in a talk entitled entitled “The Landscape of Bullying in Rural America”. Granger lost her best friend to suicide at a young age and devoted her life to sparing other children the pain and trauma she experienced. Van Kingsley says recognizing bullying symptoms is a first step in helping young people get the help they need before things get worse.
