A 0.0 TV rating doesn't happen too often. Usually someone is watching. Probably Mom or Dad.

The Houston Astros achieved a dreaded 0.0 TV rating from Nielsen, which doesn't necessarily mean no one watched the game against Cleveland. Because Nielsen uses a sample of the population, generally by sending out TV diaries to select homes, it is possible for a show to get a 0.0 rating if no one in the sample watches the program.

That's what happened to the Houston Astros.

Other notable programs to receive a 0.0 Nielsen rating are the CNBC talk show "McEnroe" and the CW Network's "CW Now."
