Historical Judge Nomination To NY State Appellate Court
Governor Andrew Cuomo nominates Paul Feinman to fill a vacancy on the New York State Court of Appeals. He’s been an associate justice of the appellate division of the Supreme Court in Manhattan for the last five years and Feinman would fill the spot which was left after the death of Judge Sheila Abdus-Salaam in April. If confirmed by the state senate, Feinman will become the first openly gay judge be appointed to the high court.
