At about 10:00 PM Wednesday, the City of Oneonta Police Department received a request to assist the Otsego County probation Department with items located during a routine visit of a person on probation. Police say during an investigation they found 40 knotted bags of heroin with a street value of approximately $10,000, packaging material commonly used for selling illegal drugs, scales used to weigh illegal substances and a small quantity of marijuana. As a result of the items discovered,

30 year old Daniel Londner of Oneonta was arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 3rd degree, a felony and the misdemeanors of 2 counts of criminally using of drug paraphernalia in the 2 degree, 7th degree criminal possession of controlled substance and the violation of unlawful possession of marijuana.
