Help Local Families In Need with Oneonta Salvation Army Angel Tree Program

A tradition that dates back to 1921 thanks to the Freeman's Journal and Editor and Publisher Rowan D. Spraker Sr., is once again here for the holiday season. It's the Angel Tree Program facilitated through the Oneonta Salvation Army in cooperation with
The AllOTSEGO newspapers, The Freeman’s Journal and Hometown Oneonta.

This program asks community members to donate holiday gifts to local families in need by adopting a family through the Angel Tree Program. You can either "adopt" one person or a whole family. Christmas shopping for a family or child may make a fun, heartwarming activity for you and your family members or coworkers. Click here for the list of items needed.

So many families are struggling right now during the COVID-19 pandemic and every little bit helps to bring smiles to those who need it, so get involved and enjoy that great feeling of helping others!
