On Saturday, September 12 the Town of Hartwick NY will hold its annual Community Fall Clean Sweep Day.  The hours are 8:00 am to 2:00 pm.

The event will be held at the Hartwick Town Hall, 103 Town Drive.  The event is an effort to continue to clean up and beautify Hartwick's yards, sidewalks and streets.  .

Clean Sweep is an opportunity for Hartwick town residents to freely dispose of old household furniture, yard trash, and scrap metal. (Scrap metal includes lawn mowers, lawn chairs, barbecue grills, metal fencing, aluminum flashing, metal bed frames, and microwaves.)
Hartwick residents only can have their items picked up at their homes by the volunteer team for a fee of $20 covering the first load, and $10 for each subsequent load. Those who haul their own items to the Town Hall can do so free of charge. Please call Town Clerk Andrea Vazquez at 607-293-8123 to make pickup arrangements. This service is for Hartwick residents only and proof of residency will be required.

This year's Clean Sweep Day will include a table of reusable goods.  All who attend are welcome to add to it or make a donation for an item you want to take.

All safety protocols will be followed, including the wearing of face masks, hand sanitizing and social distancing
