“Giving Tree” Program at SUNY Oneonta Helps 185 Kids

The SUNY Oneonta community is making Christmas brighter for 185 kids from 11 area schools through the annual Giving Tree program. Children in need filled out gift tags which were hung on a tree in Hunt Union for people to choose then return with a gift for that child. Donors also had the option to provide a food box or a toiletries collection. Over 100 employees were among those buying toys, warm winter clothes, and nonperishable food items.
