Free Tax Assistance Available in Oneonta For Those Eligible

The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program is now accepting walk-in clients.  The program is sponsored by the United Way of Otsego and Delaware County, SUNY Oneonta and CASH Coalition.

Walk-ins need not make an appointment.  This service is available for residents making less than $56,000 for the tax year 2019.  The tax preparation site is at 31 Maple Street and is open between 5-9:00 pm Tuesday and Thursdays.  The last walk-in client will be taken at 8:00 pm.
