Truth Pharm and the Oxford Police Department will partner to hold a free, community Naloxone or Narcan training session, January 28th at 5:30 p.m. at the Oxford High School. In response to the growing rate of addiction in the local community, the Oxford Police Department is taking an aggressive approach in addressing the opioid epidemic and making sure that people know how to properly use Naloxone or Narcan to prevent overdose. The session is one of the steps the department is initiating. Training is free and participants will be given a free Naloxone kit to take home. Reservations are not required but are appreciated by calling Oxford police at (607) 843-2333, or emailing truthpharm@gmail.com.
