Federal Money To be Awarded to Otsego County Emergency food and shelter programs

Here's good news from the United Way of Delaware and Otsego Counties: Otsego County has received $24,534 through the Department of Homeland Security/Federal Emergency Management Agency.

Funds were made available through Phase 37 and Phase CARES under the Emergency Food and Shelter Program. The money will be used in Otsego County to supplement emergency food and shelter programs. Any nonprofit, faith-based or local government agency that provides food and shelter services may apply for funds in both phases

The Local EFSP Board has set the funding priorities for Food and Housing. However, all applications will be considered.
