The Edmeston Museum is excited to announce it’s reopening on Saturday, July 18th from 9 a.m. to 12n.   There is a new pop up exhibit called “Votes for Women” to celebrate the 100th anniversary of 19th amendment coming up in August.   Along with centennial posters, there is a collection of postage stamps and first day covers highlighting the hard fought accomplishment and the women who worked to achieve it.   Photos and brief biographies of some of the notable women and men who labored over the decades to achieve this goal are present to illustrate the diversity and depth of the movement’s commitment.

The museum has a renewed emphasis on the health and safety of its guests.   There are signs to help maintain social distancing and masks for your use (to keep).   Multiple hand sanitization stations are scattered throughout the museum to help maintain everyone’s health.

The Edmeston Museum is open every Saturday, 9 a.m. to 12n.   It is located at 1 North St., Edmeston, NY.   There is no admission fee and everyone is welcome.
