Delaware Sheriffs Offer Free Gun Safety Kits for Kids

The Delaware County Sheriff’s Office announced it is one of many law enforcement agencies across the nation that has partnered with the National Shooting Sports Foundation PROJECT CHILDSAFE- a nationwide firearms safety education program to provide free firearms safety kits to all gun owners. Secure storage of firearms also can play a role in helping to prevent suicide by placing time and distance between an at-risk person and a firearm.
