Cuomo Urges Protestors To Get Tested For COVID-19

Governor Andrew Cuomo is urging that those participating in demonstrations over the killing of George Floyd to take a COVID-19 test. So far, around 30,000 New Yorkers have participated in protests and there is a concern that this could further the spread of the coronavirus.

Cuomo announced the State Department of Financial Services will issue an emergency regulation to help businesses and consumers who suffered damage from looting and vandalism by requiring insurance companies to expedite claim resolution and payment.
