Governor Andrew Cuomo declares a state of emergency for Chenango, Delaware and 12 other counties following Tuesday’s rainfall and flooding. State agencies are mobilizing resources and personnel including 50 members of the New York National Guard and ten vehicles, as well as DOT crews who will continue to clear culverts and drainage basins to help ensure they flow freely. The Department of Environmental Conservation is deploying its staged flood control assets to impacted communities.
