Cuomo Approval Rating Dips Among Men

The latest poll by Quinnipiac University shows that while Governor Andrew Cuomo’s job approval is steady at 57 percent to 20 percent, it’s much lower among men and upstate residents.

This is likely a result of the governor’s stand on gun control legislation. Men approve of Cuomo by 49%, while women give the governor a 63% approval rating.

That same poll shows that a majority of 52 percent say that Cuomo has done a good job cleaning up legislative corruption.
