Cobleskill Man Facing Felony Child Porn Charges

A Cobleskill man faces multiple felony charges after a child pornography investigation conducted by New York State Police Computer Crimes Unit, and the Internet Crimes Against Children Taskforce. The investigation determined Robert Messler possessed and promoted images consistent with child sexual exploitation via the internet. A search of Messler’s home also resulted in the confiscation of a firearm. Messler was arraigned in Cobleskill Town Court and released on his own recognizance.
