Chenango Sheriff’s “No Knock Search Warrant” Leads to Drug Charge

Sheriff Cutting reports on June 25th, 2019 at approximately 12:40 pm the Chenango County Sheriff’s Office executed a no knock search warrant at 121 Ashcraft Road in the Town of Plymouth. The search warrant, signed by Honorable Frank B. Revoir Jr, Chenango County Court Judge stemmed from an investigation involving the distribution of Crystal Methamphetamine from within the residence. The City of Norwich Police Department assisted with the lengthy investigation and execution of the search warrant.

The Narcotics Division arrested William D. Johnson Jr, age 47 and Kelli K. Johnson, age 35 for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree, Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. While executing the search warrant the Sheriff’s Office recovered Crystal Methamphetamine, packaging material, digital scales, cash, and several firearms. The defendants are currently being processed and awaiting arraignment.

The investigation remains ongoing.
