Chenango Sheriff Employees Take NYS Dispatcher Courses

Two members of the Chenango County Sheriff’s Office’s Communications Division attended an Incident Tactical Dispatcher course at the New York State Preparedness Training Center. An Incident Tactical Dispatcher is a specially trained communications specialist qualified to operate at a command post or incident scene in support of a specific incident or operation. Incident Tactical Dispatchers support planned events, and extended incidents such as hostage situations, multi-alarm fires, search and rescue operations, criminal investigations and active shooter incidents.
