State troopers based in Richfield Springs arrested Tamara L. Tophoven for allegedly abandoning seven animals. Tophoven, 57, was charged with four counts including injuring animals and failure to provide proper care. She is accused of abandoning dogs and cats in a trailer.
46-year-old Seth R. Wolle has been arrested by Otsego County deputies and charged with three counts of endangering the welfare of a child. Authorities are investigating a report of Wolle performed a lewd act in the presence of minors.
Law enforcement officers made multiple arrests for drunk driving over four days of Independence Day celebrations. Those busted include Bianca Jean, 30, of Elmont, charged by Deposit state troopers with driving while intoxicated. Margaretville troopers arrested Robert Balcom, 67, of Margaretville, for driving while intoxicated. And Shaney Stevens, 50, of Coventry, was arrested by Norwich troopers with driving while intoxicated.
State troopers based in Deposit arrested Lacey Moore, 24-years old, and Dillon Rought, 29-years-old, on gun related charges. Both defendants are accused of criminal possession of a weapon.
Bradley C. Cook, 41, was sentenced to 20 years in state prison and 15 years of post-release supervision. This after Cook was convicted on two counts of a first-degree criminal sexual act. Judge Michael Getman handed down the sentence.
