Tumbleweed Highway, winners of our Battle of the Bands, got to perform in front of 5,000 people on the main stage at the Taste of Country Music Festival on June 15.

Tumbleweed Highway will represent Central New York at the largest country concert event in the Northeast, Taste Of Country Music Festival at Hunter Mountain.  Winner of our Battle of the Bands, Tumbleweed Highway will take the stage on Saturday, June 15, 2013 at 12:15pm.

We were joined in the Big Kat studios Monday by Nate Gross, one of the members of the popular local band "Tumbleweed Highway," who were the winners at the recent Battle of The Bands held at the Oneonta Theater.  As a result, they will perform this Saturday, June 15th on the main stage for the Taste of Country Festival at Hunter Mountain. ...

Congratulations to Jamie Crawford, who is the winner of our Hats and Boots contest. More than 3,000 people voted for Jamie.

Last Friday night was a great night at the historic Oneonta Theatre.  Taste of Country Music Festival held a Battle of the Bands and we had four great contenders.  Tumbleweed Highway won the competition and will kick off next Saturday's lineup of the three day concert event June 13, 14, and 15, 2013 in Hunter Mountain N.Y.
