Jack Jones is one of the last, and best, crooners from the 1960s.  He is the consummate entertainer and still performs (at age 76) all over the world.  I have always loved his voice. I hope you enjoy this video.  

Of all of the hundreds of acts that appeared on the long-running Dean Martin Variety Show, Dean himself said that these guys were his favorites.  Talk about a mutual admiration society.  Look how much fun this turns into!  

Is it just me, or was Flip Wilson one of the finniest guys ever on TV?  Especially when he climbed into high heels, put on a wig and squeezed into a tight dress.  Geraldine..she was a riot!

Does anybody ever buy comedy CDs anymore.  Or records???? When I was a kid I distinctly remember my parents loved to buy comedy record albums in the early 1960s.  I remember the Smothers Brothers, Bob Newhart, Shelley Berman, Bill Cosby and others in the stack...

Is it possible that television was ever this simple?  Believe it or not, this show was a big hit from 1961 to 1964.  Amazing. Take a look:
