School bus drivers across New York are now permitted to respond to allergy attacks by administering emergency drugs such as the EpiPen. The measure that took effect Tuesday adds bus drivers to the same category of school workers who were previously allowed to administer epinephrine auto-injectors. The new measure applies to both bus drivers employed by school districts along with those working for companies who contract with districts for bus service.
