Brindisi/Tenney Congressional Race Goes to Court

A judge may be the one who determines the winner in the 22nd District Congressional race between incumbent Anthony Brindisi and challenger Claudia Tenney. Board of Elections representatives as well as lawyers for Brindisi and Tenney will appear today before Oswego County Supreme Court Justice Scott DelConte who will rule on whether nearly 2,700 ballots can be counted. 73 of those ballots are absentee which have not been counted while the rest were rejected for one or more reasons.
