Brewery Ommegang’s store and café are set to reopen on Friday, June 15 after months of work. The facility, which will welcome nearly 80,000 visitors this year, has been completely renovated and expanded to more than twice its original size. The public is invited to a ribbon cutting ceremony at 5:30 pm followed by a “Firepit Friday” event from 6 - 9 pm, featuring live music.

Local restaurateur and veteran hospitality expert Dave Neil, who joined Ommegang in January of this year, helped oversee renovations of the building.

This is a total transformation of the visitor experience,” says Neil. “From the bar and dining areas to the bottle shop and tasting room, we’ve thoroughly upgraded every element to provide a world-class experience that matches the quality of our beer. I can’t wait to welcome our fans to the new place.”

Highlights of the $2 million project include a new main entrance, new indoor seating along a windowed wall with unobstructed views of surrounding fields and hills, a new 4,000 square foot covered patio, and expanded retail space to accommodate the brewery’s growing number of small batch limited releases.

Tours and tastings will be available from 11 am to 5:30 pm daily. The café will be open from 11 am to 6 pm on weekdays, and until 9 pm on Friday and Saturday.
