The Bassett Birthing Center welcomed two babies born Christmas Day. The first baby to be born on December 25 was Arielle Ross, daughter of Krista Matzel and Robert Ross of Sidney, NY. She was welcomed into the world at 5:56 a.m. At birth, Arielle was 19 inches long and 6 pounds 5 ounces. Arielle has a 7 year old brother Robert, who along with her parents is excited to welcome her to the family.

The second baby baby born on Christmas day at 9:31 a.m. was also a girl (pictured below), Harper Rey Newkirk and her parents are Shannon and Zakary Newkirk of Hamilton, NY. Harper Rey just didn't want to wait to meet her parents as she was born a month early. Her mother had this to say according to Bassett, “We were shocked and ecstatic she came on Christmas morning!”. Harper weighed in at 6 pounds, 13.7 ounces and was also 19 inches long.
