Baby Boomer Alert: “The Fugitive” Had the Greatest TV Show Opening Ever! (VIDEO)

In my opinion, this is the best TV show opening sequence of them all.

"The Fugitive" ran for 4 seasons, 120 episodes.  David Janssen starred as a man on the run looking for the killer of his wife.  Dr. Richard Kimble (Janssen) spent the 4 years looking for the man he knew killed her, but only knew him as a "one armed man."  All this while he was pursued by Lt. Gerard (actor Barry Morse) who is seen in the opening sequence accompanying Kimble to death row.

This opening sequence is taught, grim, exciting and shot as if a scene from a Hollywood movie, and not just an episodic television show.  Watch it and listen to the dramatic voice of the narrator.  Yes...it is William Conrad who went on to play "Cannon" in his own television series.

This opening sequence is the best of them all in my opinion.  What do you think?
