Area First Responders Visit Unadilla Elementary School

Nobody likes to see a fire truck pull up on front of a school, but it was a different story on Wednesday in Unadilla.  Area first responders from Unadilla, Wells Bridge and Otego paid a "Fire Prevention Week" visit to the school kids and they couldn't have been happier!

Here is a message posted on the Unadilla Emergency Squad Facebook page:

"Yesterday the Unadilla Fire/EMS, Wells Bridge Fire, and Otego Fire visited every PE class at the Unatego Elementary school. Otego’s most popular fire fighter, SPARKY, spent the day with us as well!! A great time was had by both fire members and students!! We want to thank Unatego Principal Mr. Snider for inviting us for this important week, and a HUGE thank you to the PTO for treating us to the ultimate chicken bowl lunch!!!! Having extra time to talk with the students at lunch made for great fun!!  All teachers, faculty, students were extremely excited and a pleasure to work with!! We can’t wait for next year!!!
