Are You Watching Regular Season Baseball, or Pre-Season Football? — Sports Survey of the Day
We have hit the mid-August mark, which means that Major League Baseball is in the home stretch and NFL football is just getting started.
The biggest difference is that the football that is currently being played is just preseason action, which means it doesn't count. That doesn't mean that America isn't watching, because everyone has football fever.
In the meantime, we are seeing some pretty good races in baseball. Oakland is only one game behind division leading Texas, and the Tampa Bay Rays are just two games back of the Boston Red Sox. In the National League, the Pittsburgh Pirates have been the surprise of the season, and they maintain a two-game lead over St. Louis.
