The owner of Delhi's Angel's Gate Shelter, Susan Marino, has been barred from having animals for six months under conditions set by the Town of Kortright Court.

The court will then consider dismissing 22 animal cruelty charges against her.

Angel's Gate Closed their animal shelter in Delhi in September. The remaining dogs and cats were then placed in homes or shelters after the state attorney general sued her for failing to file financial reports.

Marino appeared in Kortright Town Court on the cruelty charges stemming from an investigation by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals. PETA says Marino gave animals inadequate care.
