It was announced recently on their Facebook page that the Andes Public Library will be closed to the public due to precautionary quarantine. Staff has potentially come into contact with COVID-19 and the library may remain closed throughout this week depending on test results. "We had planned to be closed for the Thanksgiving holiday Thursday and Friday but to protect the safety of our patrons, we are erring on the side of caution. All fines will be waived if you wish to just hang on to your returns this week."

If test results come back negative the library will reopen on Saturday, November 28.
