Accident Fatality In West Kortright

A fatal accident in Delaware County yesterday. State Police at Oneonta responded at about 5:45 p.m. to a Delaware County 911 report of a motor vehicle accident on West Kortright Church Road in the Town of Kortright. An investigation determined that 58 year old Michael Berry of East Meredith was driving his 1996 Dodge Ram pickup truck southeast on West Kortright Church Road when he left the roadway for an unknown reason and struck a culvert. This caused the pickup truck to overturn. Berry was transported by ambulance to A.O. Fox Hospital where he was pronounced deceased from internal injuries.
