76-Year Old Man Hospitalized After Otego House Fire

A 76-year-old Otego man is hospitalized after a fire at his home Monday. Authorities say the unidentified man was able to escape from the County Route 5 home and a passerby found him outside and called 9-1-1. He was taken to A.O Fox Hospital for cold weather exposure. There’s been no word on his condition. Otego firefighters were assisted by two other departments and the home is reported to be a total loss.
