2013 Stanley Cup Finals — Blackhawks Rally Past Bruins, 3-2, To Win Stanley Cup
Bryan Bickell and Dave Bolland scored within 17 seconds of each other late in the third period, and the Chicago Blackhawks beat the Boston Bruins, 3-2, in Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Finals on Monday night to win their second championship in four seasons.
The game seemed destined to become the fourth overtime contest of the series until Boston's Milan Lucic scored a goal at 12:11 of the third period to put the Bruins up 2-1. Bickell then scored with 1:16 remaining to forge a tie. Bolland slapped a rebound past Boston's Tuukka Rask 17 seconds later to shock the crowd at the TD Bank Garden in Boston.
Chicago's Patrick Kane was named the winner of the Conn Smythe Trophy as the most valuable player of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
