Both would run into a bit of trouble as the game continued, though, and what each gave up in those spots proved to be the difference.  Hughes gave up a pair of doubles in the sixth that gave the Blue Jays a 2-1 lead, but in the bottom of the seventh, with one man on base, Lyle Overbay took Dickey deep and reclaimed the lead for the Yanks.

The one run cushion was more than enough for Robertson and Rivera, who shut down the Jays in the 8th and 9th and secured a 3-2 win for the Yanks and a four game sweep of the Jays.

Brennan Boesch, by way of his own home run, accounted for the Yankees other run, but the story of the day was Phil Hughes' second consecutive stellar start - He went six inning and allowed only two runs.

The Bombers begin a set with the Astros on Monday night. Coverage begins on The Team at 6:15.
