Who Remembers Oneonta’s Favorite Doo-Wop Group “The Tones?”

“This has a catchy beat do it and I love the lyrics.  I could dance to this record!”

You can almost hearing them say this on Dick Clark’s American bandstonad during hte “rate-a’Record” segment.  I know the Tones were a group of Oneonta High School guys who were looking to catch that shining star!  Among their members were Serge Amitrano, Nate Driggs, Jerry Russell, Paul Pierce and Dick Ingraham.  I believe Jerry Jeff Walker was also a member.  Did I get the names right?

Anybody remember dancing to either of these songs?
