Varsity Basketball This Weekend: Norwich Vs. Oneonta Showdown!

This Saturday March 1st, Oneonta and Norwich High School varsity basketball teams will go head-to-head for the Class B Section 4 Championship.

Oneonta Girls, seeded #1 and ranked #1 in the state, will take on the Norwich girls, seeded #2, at 5:15 in the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena. The winner of this game will play the champions of Section 3.

Then the #1 seeded Norwich Boys, undefeated this season and ranked third in the state, will face off against the #2 seeded Oneonta Boys at 7:00 pm in the same venue. Again, the winner will face the Section 3 champs.

As always, WZOZ's John Hayen will call both games alongside his broadcast partner, Vince Foti. The games will be aired on WZOZ 103.1 FM in Oneonta and on CHN 970 AM in Norwich.
