Due to a water main break on West Street in Oneonta and a subsequent break 10 feet from the original one on Friday, February 13th, residents in the town and city of Oneonta had been asked to conserve water until further notice.

The City of Oneonta has discontinued the Water Emergency.  High service tanks are back to normal levels. DPS has finished its investigation of the entire high service system, and has found no indication of leaks. Water conservation measures can be discontinued, effective immediately.
