The UHS Stratton Center for Therapies and SECO of Norwich have joined forces to provide the Chenango County community with a top-quality physical therapy and rehabilitation center.

The partnership will allow for an expanded physical therapy and rehabilitation center with skilled therapists. It is located in the Eaton Center, at 26 Conkey Ave. in Norwich.

Chenango Memorial Hospital administrator Dr. Drake Lay-Man says the partnership provides programs for all types of physical therapy.

"Folks that are going to have surgery can come and evaluated and get some education on what to expect," he said. "After surgery, they can come and actually get the therapy so they increase their functionality and be safer at home and get back to work."

Staff and hospital officials were on hand Tuesday for the Commerce Chenango Business After Hours event. Everyone was given a personal, in-depth tour of the facility and were able to ask the skilled therapists questions about the equipment used for all kinds of physical therapy.
