Two Injured in Otsego County Car Accident

The Otsego County Sheriff's Office investigated a two car accident on State Highway 28 in the town of Otsego at approximately 1:45 pm Tuesday June 17th.

Deputies say a Ford Ranger pickup truck operated by Richard Gray, 58, of Cooperstown was traveling north on State Highway 28 and attempting to make a left hand turn when the vehicle was struck from behind by a Bernie Bus operated by Etsel Maidens, 74, of Oneonta. Both drivers were taken to Bassett Hospital.

Maidens was issued a traffic ticket for following to closely and is to appear in Otsego Town Court at the end of the month.
