We spent the weekend at my in-laws.  Enough said?  Contrary to the "in-law" stereotype, I did not need liquid aid to make it through the weekend.  I'm lucky, I have to say my in-laws are pretty cool and they have a summer camp at Seneca LakeWe did a whole lot of nothing and that felt a whole lot of good.  The weather was perfect, the kids were happy, and this girl got to sit back and relax.  Which if you know me, I don't sit still very long.

Something about a light breeze, and splashing waves.  Ad a comfy chair and a cold beverage and we are talking mini vacation.

This (photo above) is not me (ha, ha), or my husband.  It is just some stranger that was cruising across the lake.  I was watching him wind surf and I have to tell you, it looked like work.  Once he got going it looked like fun, but took some maneuvering to get going.  Kayakers were doing their thing, too.  Pontoons were floating, jet skis were buzzing around, and plenty of boats were on the lake.  Even though there was lots of activity around us, it was still a relaxing time.

Oh, I forgot to mention how we almost got stranded on a boat on Seneca Lake.  But, my husband saved the day.  He did something I didn't know he could do.  No, not paddle us to shore.  He opened the cover to motor, made some adjustments, and got us back home...color me impressed.
