Thursday Oldies Flasback: Who Remembers 1962′s “Johnny Angel” by Shelley Fabares? (VIDEO)

Shelley Fabares starred in the Donna Reed Show on television in the 1950s and would later appear in the hit show “Coach.”  She is also credited with co-starring with Elvis Presley in three movies:  “Girl Happy,” “Spinout,” and “Clambake.”

She possessed a charming personality and a pleasing voice which would naturally lead her to a recording contract.  She is a one-hit wonder, with her classic “Johnny Angel” going #1 on the Billboard charts in April, 1962.

Shelley has been married to “M+A+S+H” star Mike Farrell since 1984.

How many remember “Johnny Angel?”
